I really hate my ipod because it does not have hierarchical file system structure. This is no problem if you have a big disk ipod like mine ipod classic 6 generation with 160GB of space. Just think about it. When you use ipod with 2GB or 4GB or even 16GB the amount of music you can pop into it is not that big that you would be lost without hierarchical of folders, but when i have over 300 rock albums, i would like to have a folder like structure, something like classic rock, progressive rock, metal, grange and so on under the rock folder. Then under progressive rock i would put Pink Floyd folder with all Pink Floyd albums.. This is how i would be able to really navigate the logical structure of my music.
Instead, i have this flat tag based mechanism, which is really primitive, with which i really cannot do too much. Then we have even more idiotic mechanism for such big volumes of songs - the Play lists, which of course a also completely flat and not much of a help either..
In one word - IPOD is SHIT.
